The Gender and Women’s Studies Program and the English Department at Pomona College seek a specialist in American literature for a joint-appointed one-year replacement position. Teaching load is 3/2 and includes two courses in GWS of which at least one will be advanced feminist theory, two courses cross-listed to English and GWS, and one cross-listed or targeted course of candidate’s choice. Interdisciplinary approaches are welcome. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas: transnational feminist theory, American literature in a transnational framework, Asian-American/Asian Diasporas, multi-ethnic American literature, gay/lesbian/queer/ transgender studies.
