I have received a couple of questions about airports. You have two choices for airports. Our campus is located East of Downtown LA, East of the 5 Fwy and right off the 10 fwy between El Sereno, Alhambra, Monterey Park, and East LA.
1) Burbank/Bob Hope airport. This one is mid size/small. You will need to take a shuttle or rent a car that will bring you to our campus, 5 south and 10 East.
2) LAX. This is a large airport. You will need to take a shuttle or rent a car that will bring you to our campus, 105 East, 710 North, and off the 710/10 interchange.
Dear conference attendees, please email malcscsula2011@gmail.com if you may be driving in from the Santa Barbara area. There is interest in carpooling with others in this area. Saves gas!
Just a reminder that participants should be prepared to purchase breakfast, lunch and dinner on most conference days. CSULA has a food court with five concessions, a Sbarro Fresh in the student union, Starbucks, and, nearer to the conference location, Dolcini, where sandwiches, salads, coffee/water, fruit, burritos, can be purchased. These are in student budget price ranges. The food court stands, Sbarro, and Starbucks all take ATM/Debit/Credit cards. Dolcini is cash only.
I like that it reflects the mujer de bronce!
The Conference session schedule is now posted!

There are Wells Fargo, Bank of American and CSULA Federal Credit Union ATM machines located near the conference area.
